Course Discription: Heartsaver AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

Course Duration: 4 Hours.

Our HEARTSAVER AED Course is endorsed by the following organisations, as we are a recognised training site for:

• American Heart Association.
• Irish Heart Foundation.

Course Includes:

• To learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of four major emergencies
• To learn the correct operation of the AED machine
• To learn when it is appropriate to use the AED machine

The Heartsaver AED Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and how to use an AED. Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of four major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest and foreign-body airway obstruction

15 people per day develop cardiac arrest in Ireland outside of a Hospital setting – it could happen within your organisation next.
